Why I don’t workout everyday

When I first started bodybuilding, I used to workout 7 days a week.

Heck, sometime I would workout twice a day.

I got the results I wanted but the harder I worked, the more difficult it seems to get!

After my last competition in 2014, I’ve got smarter!

I studied nutrition, physiology and every other aspect of physique enhancement.

And what I figured out is that working out 6-7 days a week is a complete waste of time!

Human body simply cannot recover from that much of weight training. If you are giving your best in a workout, you would just not have enough gas to be ready next day or you are just wasting time

I cut short my workouts to 3 days a week.

Changed my exercises to compound movements only. Heavy lifts like squats, deadlifts, bench press and shoulder press.

My lifts improved, my life improved.

I got bigger and stronger and leaner.
